Blondie - One Way Or Another Lyrics

One way or another, I'm gonna find ya' I'm gonna get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya'

One way or another, I'm gonna win ya' I'm gonna get ya', get ya' ,get ya', get ya'

One way or another, I'm gonna see ya' I'm gonna meet ya', meet ya', meet ya', meet ya'

One day maybe next week, I'm gonna meet ya' I'm gonna meet ya', I'll meet ya'

I will drive past your house and if the lights are all down I'll see who's around

One way or another, I'm gonna find ya' I'm gonna get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya'

One way or another, I'm gonna win ya' I'll get ya', I'll get ya' One way or another, I'm gonna see ya' I'm gonna meet ya', meet ya', meet ya', meet ya'

One day maybe next week ,I'm gonna meet ya' I'll meet ya' ahAnd if the lights are all out I'll follow your bus downtown See who's hangin' out

One way or another, I'm gonna lose ya' I'm gonna give you the slip A slip of the lip or another I'm gonna lose ya' I'm gonna trick ya', I'll trick ya'

One way or another, I'm gonna lose ya' I'm gonna trick ya', trick ya', trick ya', trick ya'

One way or another, I'm gonna lose ya' I'm gonna give you the slip

I'll walk down the mall, stand over by the wall Where I can see it all, find out who ya' call Lead you to the supermarket checkout, some specials and rat food

Get lost in the crowd One way or another I'm gonna get ya' I'll get ya' I'll get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya'Where I can see it all, find out who ya' call

Leave it to Bieber: Pop star takes revenge via Twitter

August 17, 2010

Justin Bieber may have a cute, floppy haircut, but don't mess with him and his Twitter muscle, as a Detroit teen found out over the weekend. Fifteen-year-old Kevin Kristopik told the Detroit Free Press that, yes, he had been invading the singer's privacy, but that doesn't mean he's happy that Bieber tweeted Kristopik's phone number and the message "everyone call me … or text" to the pop idol's 4.5 million followers Saturday night.

Social revenge?

In this age of instant communication, as soon as the news of Bin Laden's execution got out, it inundated the social networks in cyberspace. It was clearly a case of revenge being tweet! -- Jerry Partacz, Oak Lawn

Toddler was victim of revenge shootings

Police say gunman targeted Pa. man

July 05, 2011|By Laura J. Nelson, Globe Correspondent

For weeks, Kathryn Erdmann of Fall River had been talking about her Fourth of July plans: a trip to rural Pennsylvania with her toddler son, where she would meet her boyfriend’s aunt and uncle for the first time.

Then came Saturday night, authorities said, when career criminal Mark Richard Geisenheyner burst into the Montgomery County vacation home where Erdmann was staying. Holding a gun, he was seeking vengeance for a 2006 insurance fraud scheme that landed him in prison.

The shootings that followed killed Erdmann’s 2-year-old son, Gregory, and her boyfriend, Joseph Shay, 43, of Yarmouth, authorities said. Erdmann, 37, of Fall River, as well as her boyfriend’s aunt and uncle, Paul and Monica Shay of New York City, were all seriously injured and taken to nearby hospitals, with Monica Shay’s injuries described as life-threatening.

UN urges Libya to prevent revenge killings

By REUTERS

10/25/2011 20:24

Attention focused on treatment of detainees by NTC, especially since ousted leader Muammar Gaddafi was killed after being captured alive.

GENEVA - United Nations human rights investigators called on Libyan authorities on Tuesday to ensure that their forces refrain from revenge killings and humanely treat detainees who fought on behalf of ousted leader Muammar Gaddafi.

"It is extremely important that the NTC (National Transitional Council) and all armed groups in Libya ensure that all detainees under their control, irrespective of their affiliations, are treated with due respect for their human rights," said Philippe Kirsch, chairman of a UN inquiry commission.

"In particular, I would urge all armed forces to refrain from revenge killings and arbitrary repression of Libyans and foreigners."

Attention has been focused on the treatment of detainees by Libya's new authorities, especially since last week when Gaddafi himself was killed after being captured alive.

The Commission of Inquiry is expected to conduct a full investigation into the death of Gaddafi, after UN and human rights groups voiced concerns that he may have been summarily executed, a war crime under international law.

Gaddafi was buried in a secret desert location on Tuesday.

In June, the Commission composed of independent experts recorded serious violations of human rights and international humanitarian law committed by Gaddafi's government.

Based on the articles and the song above human nature to me means that people have there own opion on what other people do and if someone dose something to another person they wil try and get revenge on them. Revenge isto me a feeling that a human gets when something has happened to them that they didnt like and they want to get that peson back. In the song the women gets revenge by writeing a song sayng she gonna get him back and thaats how she handled her revenge. For example, it says in the song"One way or another, I'm gonna find ya' I'm gonna get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya." This shows that she wil get him back for what ever he did to her. Revenge a emotion and alot of people will or have gotten this feeling becuse of someone else. This is what i think about revenge. By:Christine Jasonis

Well human nature is what seperates us from normal mammles and us. That is what causes revenge. We have these feelings like revenge that we act on. Revenge is a strong feeling that many act on and go through with there actions. The story about Libya is like they story of Lamb to the Slaughter, this is like that story becasue in s full of people wanting revenge for the death of thier own loved ones for example many people want to have the police dead for killing people for no reason.

Grace-I think the story relates to the Libya story a lot since I think they are jelous of the other people who were Gadaffis people who didn't have to deal with being hurt or even killed since they said they were on His side. The people may even feel betrayed by the others since they didn't agree with most if the. Entry and now that he is dead and the other people got their way the feel more power so they are getting revenge on them. it is like that in a lamb to the slaughter because she feels jelous and betrayed. He is leaving her for another woman.

I beleave that the story about the todler that got shot as a result of the revenge shooting has to do with human nature, and there for can relate to the story lamb of the sloughter. This story shows that people don't really think clearly when they want revenge or are mad. Im sure that the man that shot the todler would never have shot the boy had he not been angry and searching for revenge. Same with the lamb of the slaughter. The women would never have killed her husbend if she had not been mad in the moment and wanting revenge. This shows human nature because it shows that people want to get back at people who do bad things to them, and that they may not think clearly when they are mad, and they may want revenge.

Humans have many feelings that they can express through talking or body movements. Also revenge is a form of expresssing yourself. The song is a connection to the story "Lamp to the Slaughter" because they both talk about revenge on a single person who hurt them or did something to them. And they were both about a guy who hurt or broke up with the both of them.

I think that revenge is just a part of human nature because everybody naturally has it. I think that A lamb to the Slaughter is like the justin bieber tweet because it has a sense of humor. The story A lamb to the Slaughter had humor becuase at the end of the story the men ate the evidence of the murder weapon and they said "For all we know the evidence could be right under our noses." That is why I think that the story A lamb to the Slaughter is humorous.

Alex Esandrio;
Because of human nature, everyone goes about revenge differently. For example in Bieber's article, I read "but don't mess with him and his Twitter muscle." Twitter is the new form of communication and it is a quick and efficient way to spread news. It is a great way to get revenge for our generation. Although human nature cause everyone to do things differently, Twitter is becoming very popular. Justin bieber did no physical harm to hurt someone and that is because his nature is not violent. Someone else on the other hand may take it to another level, that all depends on human nature.

Human nature is the feelings of peole after something occures in their life.
Revenge, is when someody does something to somebody who has affected another someone . Revenge is basically getting back at someone for what they have done. The one with Gaddafi relates to the story, because the revenge involves killing.

Hunter Bennett: Human nature and revenge for example, on twitter when Justin Bieber Kevin Kristopik were fighting back and forth on twitter. They did this for revenge and it is part of human nature.
A Lamb to the Saughter would be compared to the song because once Mary Maloney figured out that they were getting a divorce all she thought was revenge. "One way or another, I'm gonna find ya' I'm gonna get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya." During this point of the song it reminds me of Mary Maloney because she wanted to find a way to get back at him.

Viana- Well, humans have feelings that they express in a different way from other animals.
The first article," Leave it to Bieber:Pop star takes revenge via Twitter" has the same type of revenge as "A Lamb to the Slaughter" because they both somewhat has the same type of humor.

Mackenzie Ives-
I think revenge is just a natural part of human nature because people have the urge to get someone back when they do something bad to them. We just want to get even for what that person did to you. In the story " A Lamb to the the Slaughter" Mary killed her husband because she was upset that he was going to leave her and wanted to get even, just like in the article about Justin Bieber he got back at the boy who was harrasing him. the article says
"Bieber tweeted Kristopik's phone number and the message "everyone call me … or text" to the pop idol's 4.5 million followers Saturday night."
So in both of these stories they both just want to get revenge for what someone did to you.

Human nature involves alot of revenge. It is just natural when someone does something to you, you tend to do something back. "A Lamb to the Slaughter" is like the story "Leave it to Bieber: Pop star takes revenge via Twitter". It is like that story because it shows a bit of humor. In the "A Lamb to the Slaughter" the police ate the murder wepon. In the bieber story, it is humor when "

patrick. i think that a amb to the slaughter is really simalure so one way or a another becasue they both want to get back at the men that hurt them but in the lamb to the slaughter she actually kill the man. so it shows that some times human nature and jellosue gets the best of us.

Jessie Allendorf; I understand human nature and revenge because it is natural for us to want to get back at someone who upset us. Youu want them to feel our pain. Humans communicate with each other and have feelings, and sometimes we don't show them properly.

I am comparing Justin Bieber's revenge to A Lamb to the Slaughter. Revenge is human nature, that is what Justin Bieber did. Someone was bothering him so he got back at him the best way he could, without anything illegal Justin Bieber used his fans to help him get back at that kid. In the story Mary Maloney acted fast without clearly thinking through what she was going to do and killed her husband. It is human nature to protect yourself and that is what revenge is, when someone does something wrong or bad to you, it is your initial reaction to get back at them.

Based on the articles and song, human nature and revenge are related. Just like the Justin Bieber's article and A Lamb to the Slaughter is related because without thinking it over much, we just do things that may not be right, this could be revenge like in A Lamb to the Slaughter. Sometimes though, you do it with think which is also human nature, like what Justin Bieber's article is about. There are many different types of revenges to relate to human nature.

Revenge is a part of human nature. Many people have revenge in them, if someones done somthing to you, naturally you want to get them back. One way or another by blondie and the story A Lamb to the Slaughter are simular in many ways. For example, they are both about revenge with a loved one. In One way or another it says "One way or another, I'm gonna find ya' I'm gonna get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya' " shes talking about getting him back. In A Lamb to the Slaughter Mary kills her husband as revenge for saying "i want to leave you, i love somebody else." -Angela Salvati-

Humans have feelings which they express in many different ways such as crying, laughing, smiling, or using body language like curse words. Revenge is something that people do to get back at other people. Justin Bieber got back at that kid by giving away his phone number to everyone, that was more of a funny revention. That connects to the story "A Lamb to the Slaughter" because there was humor at the end when the police said the evidence was right under their noses when it literally was and they were eating the evidence. But revenge can be sad and mean to like the 2 year old that died, this connets to the story "A Lamb to the Slaughter" because the husband dies and that is more serious and sad.

i understand now that revenge is human nature and i never really thought of it but it really is. The one about justin beiber kind of reminds me about the story A lamb to the Slaughter because what the person did and posted heres his number call/text to get votes was sneaky and clever just like when she fed the cops the murder weapon.

I think human nature is simple, it is expressing yourself with body language, faces, etc. Revenge is also a way to express yourself. I compare the story A Lamb to the Slaughter to the song. I compared it to this because they are both about getting revenge on a guy. In the story it is about her geting revenge on her husband and in the song it is about her getting revenge on her boyfreind. This is what I would compare it to.

Chris Pannullo-
I think the story about Justin bieber relates to A lamb to the slaughter because it has dark humor. When Justin bieber put up that kids phone number and everyone called him it seemed funny just like how the cops could not find out who killed him or what was used even though it was right under their noses.
